Flexible Content Editor - Quick Overview
Last updated on November 6, 2025 at 1:16 PM
The Flexible Content Editor for EWS' CMS uses a row-based system where each row equals 100% width. Columns within a row automatically wrap to a new line when they exceed 100% total width. You can create multi-column layouts (such as four-column rows) by setting column widths to specific percentages (e.g., 25% each) and duplicating columns using the duplicate button. Column order can be adjusted by selecting the desired number position, and changes apply immediately. Additional columns can be added using the green + button.
For consistent layouts, create new rows when you need to add more content rather than stacking multiple columns within a single row. Each row should represent one horizontal section of content—not function as a larger section with columns imitating multiple rows. This approach maintains proper structure and ensures the CMS layout remains organized and predictable across the site.
